When you read the article below, any current gamer should not be surprised given the amount of effort some companies put into their games.

Rockstar’s GTA series was always highly regarded, but GTA 3 and onwards, when they switched from top down to “normal” 3D perspective marked the transition to superstardom in the gaming world.

The stories are fantastical, sure, but very well crafted, joined together and still give opportunities for doing things off the main story line.

Indeed, any of the AAA style titles, regardless of genre, offer that flexibility.

Social media is pervasive, this blog is only one channel. We’ve all experienced different forms by now, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and many, many more.

One of the biggest in the US, 4th, based on the link below, is Reddit. Personally I think it is also one that’s had the most negative press, as the article outlines yet another instance.

It only goes to show how much kore care we all have to take in validating sources that we reference in our social media journeys.

And in a twist, there is more social media related news linked to the Florida shooting. The TV host has rightly lost their job because of their negative use of social media about a Florida shooting survivor. If you’re on social media – use it as you would a conversation face to face.

The latest one is based on what money is being spent by government on policing, or more correctly how the funding of the forces happens.

Its well worth a read to compare what government spokespeople say, and what is really happening.

Day one is a bit weird.

Already had feedback about how my deletion has affected people’s timelines.

As one person said yesterday, watching Zuckerberg being interrogated by the senate committee highlights issues with the tools people use and how their data is then interpreted.

The last few comments of some people were telling for both their frankness, and reaffirming for the sense of friendship that was also being offered or confirmed.

That does mean I don’t feel quite as lonely, not being on Facebook, as I think I would be otherwise.

Right, back to work.

I listen to a lot of radio, usually comedies but also other items, which, as you’ll see, includes drama.

I recently listened to an abridged BBC Radio 4 adaptation of Reservoir 13 by Jon McGregor and was fascinated by it.

A girl goes missing. Whodunnit?

I’m not going to spoil the story, but will rbe commend that you consume it if you truly enjoy mysteries. Whether as an original book, or the abridged radio show, I think you’ll find it fascinating.
