So, from the outside the site hasn’t changed a great deal, but I’ve been doing a lot of things behind the scenes. Still lots more to do, but fun learning WordPress and refreshing my memory on various things.
For those interested in what those were, they included, to various levels of impact: HTML, CSS, JSON (one of the behind the scenes things), MySQL, PHP, backups (yeah I messed up my first install of WordPress – ho hum) and I am sure I’ve forgotten a few more.
Its also been interesting to note that I feel like I have more time, as I’ve deleted the Facebook apps off my phone ? and iPad and also remove the browser integration as well. This may lead to me doing more of my photography again and be prepared for me doing even more hobby work. (Yes, I may get to use my new iRigs keyboard). ?

Oh Rob you are so Brave 🙂 !! Take care and I will try and pop in to check you are ok xx
Brave? Not sure why you think that… 🙂
all too technical for me but hope we keep in touch x
I hope so too, you know where I am and I’ll keep responding to any comments 🙂 Take care
I hope it all works out for you. I will miss your comments on Facebook, in fact I will miss you on Facebook. xx
Nonetheless, I do believe Facebook is more insidiously poisonous than anyone realises. Working on GDPR just means the focus on individual privacy, is key. The other things FB does such as limiting who sees what you post, or that you see, ends up focusing on the polar opposites of your friends. Not good.
Anyways, I’ll be here, and on Vero, and other media, so still around. Just not as visible.
What I would give to delete facebook, but I think my family might object!! Bookmarked!
Yeah, Mum and Dad won’t use it at all, they read the Daily Mail and Express
My brother and I stay in touch outside of FB, so we’re all cool. But understand completely. 🙂
I will definately be checking on you and see what your up too ?
Cool, I look forward to your comments.
